CIVIL & RELIGIOUS CEREMONIES
Planning a wedding in Romania when you’re living abroad comes with its own set of challenges — legal requirements, language barriers, cultural differences. It can feel confusing or even discouraging at first, especially when you’re trying to make decisions from afar.
But that’s where I come in. I’ll guide you through everything with clarity, care, and local know-how — so you can focus on what matters: the joy, the people, and the experience.
Civil Ceremonies in Romania
If one of you is a Romanian citizen or has legal residency, you’re eligible for a civil wedding here.
I’ll handle all the logistics — from paperwork and translations to appointments and ceremony details — and make sure nothing gets lost in translation. Whether it’s a historic city hall or a countryside town hall, your legal ceremony can be meaningful, smooth, and stress-free.
Religious Ceremonies in Romania
Romania is a country of deep traditions and beautiful spiritual diversity. While Orthodox weddings are most common, Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical, and other religious ceremonies are also welcomed and possible here.
Whether you’re blending two cultures or celebrating within one faith, I’ll help you plan a religious ceremony that feels authentic, emotional, and true to your story.
From village churches to grand cathedrals, every setting holds space for your love.

End of summer beginning of fall Romanian wedding
Hi I was wondering if you have done weddings for 2 us citizens?
Dear Emelia,
Thank you for your message. We do weddings for foreigners in Romania, but please note that under the current legislation, only symbolic ceremony would be available for you, as the requirement to have a legal wedding in Romania is that at least 1 of the bride or groom must be romanian citizen.
